Ingredients

  • 35 vanilla wafer cookies
  • 35 white candy melts
  • 1 10-ounce bag M&Ms

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Sort M&Ms into piles of each color so they are easy to grab.
  • Arrange 10-20 vanilla wafer cookies on the baking sheet. Place one single candy melt on each cookie.
  • Place tray in oven to melt chocolate—about 3-4 minutes. The melts will be intact, but completely melted. Be sure the centers are melted otherwise it’ll be challenging to get the middle M&M on there.
  • Remove tray from oven and place M&Ms in the shape of flowers. Start with the center and add the petals after. Let cool on a cooling rack. Repeat until all cookies have been made.

Notes

Notes: For this quantity of cookies, you should have a few M&Ms leftover. These can be used if you encounter chipped M&Ms (or are snacking as you go!).
Can I use broken cookies? Mostly yes! Oftentimes a box of vanilla wafers has plenty of broken cookies. I found that broken edges were hidden quite well by the M&Ms on top, but I would avoid any cookies that are halved or missing large segments.
