Crumbl’s New York Cheesecake Cookie REVIEW
Today I’m sharing my review of Crumbl’s New York Cheesecake cookie. The cookie is Crumbl’s take on New York Cheesecake. It’s a thick graham cracker crust cookie and a swoosh of cheesecake-style frosting.
Crumbl has a whole lineup of cheesecake-inspired cookies including Salted Caramel, Blueberry, and Raspberry. I think the best way to describe these cookies is “inside out cheesecake”.

Traditional cheesecake features a thin crust layered with a few inches of thick decadent cheesecake.
The Crumbl cookie-version is basically the reverse. You’ve got a super-thick “crust” cookie followed by a swoosh of creamy cheesecake style icing on top. Depending on the cookie, you’ll get some additional toppings on there too.
Crumbl describes the cookies as a graham cracker cookie with cheesecake frosting inspired by popular New York Cheesecake.
My Review of Crumbl’s New York Cheesecake Cookie
Base cookie: It was buttery with graham cracker flavor. It had more flavor than previous Crumbl Cookies I’d tried.
Topping: The cheesecake frosting had that cheesecake tang and was perfectly smooth. The generous amount was just right. It’s quite a sweet cookie, so bear that in mind if you don’t like overly sweet desserts. The frosting was more like a cream cheese-buttercream frosting. I prefer the no-bake cheesecake topping I use in my copycat recipes. It seems more authentic to me.
This is also super tall cookie. Mine (which I tried on 9/18/2023), measured 1.5″ tall. It’s indulgent to be sure, so I find that eating about 1/4 of it is the right amount for me. Luckily these cookies freeze well too.
I mean, check out the above photo of the cookie cut in half. It really is super thick!
Don’t forget: store this cookie in the fridge or freezer due to the cream cheese frosting.
The Verdict
Would I buy it again? I would buy this cookie again! Crumbl definitely improved it from the earlier versions and this one is a success.
